<p>&nbsp;</p><p>The İzmir Konak Municipality Council Hall project is an ongoing comprehensive interior architecture and technical coordination project developed to meet the contemporary requirements of municipal council spaces in terms of functionality, representation, and acoustic performance.</p><p>The primary design approach focuses on creating a clear spatial hierarchy between the speaker’s podium, the presiding desk, and the participant seating areas, ensuring equal visibility, optimal sightlines, and homogeneous sound distribution for all users. Seating layout, circulation paths, and level differences have been carefully designed to support both formal council sessions and multi‑purpose meeting scenarios.</p><p>Acoustic performance has been considered as a fundamental design parameter from the early design phase. Wall surfaces are enriched with vertical wooden acoustic panels and integrated lighting bands to provide controlled reverberation time, improved speech intelligibility, and balanced sound diffusion throughout the hall. The ceiling system, lighting layout, and technical equipment integration have been coordinated to support long‑duration meetings with high visual and auditory comfort.</p><p>Material selection emphasizes durability, acoustic efficiency, and institutional identity.
